Thomas and Dawn (Musselman) Rapchinski of Ephrata are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary this week. They were married on June 8, 1968 at Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church, Ephrata. The ceremony was officiated by Tom’s uncle, Father Jack Stawasz, along with Rev. Guy Wampler.

A special education teacher, Tom spent a year working at Donegal High School, Mount Joy; six years at Fresno School District in Fresno, Calif.; and 33 years at Reading High School, Reading. He is semi-retired, co-managing a summer work experience program for high school special education students for Goodwill Keystone Area.

Dawn is a homemaker, and she has a hand-braided rug business.

They are the parents of: Kathy, wife of Craig Norris, Shillington; Pamela Miller, Ephrata; Chris, wife of Dr. Steve Springer, Lititz; and Angie, wife of Dave Browning, Denver, Colo. They also have five grandchildren.

The couple celebrated at a family dinner hosted by their four loving daughters.
