Dale and Ethel (Eisenhour) Martin, of Ephrata, will soon be celebrating 60 years of marriage.
They wed March 24, 1956, at a private home in East Earl, by Bishop Simon Bucher.
Dale was co-owner of Zimmerman Manufacturing, New Holland. Ethel was a child care giver in their home. They are members of Hinkletown Mennonite Church. Dale enjoys metal detecting, and Ethel enjoys reading.
They are the parents of Wendy Means, wife of Paul Means Jr.; Donna Martin; and Terry Martin; the grandparents of Sherri Stoltzfus; Terri Scarle, married to Jim Scarle, and Paul Means III; and great-grandparents to Tyler, Cheyenne, Nicole, Kyle, Dallas, and Jordyn.
