Robert S. and Sally A. (Crouse) Boyer of East Cocalico celebrated their 50th anniversary this week.
They were married April 9, 1966, at Swamp Reformed Church. The ceremony was officiated by Rev. Donald F. Geschwindt.
Robert and Sally are both retired. They enjoy traveling, taking care of their two dogs, monthly breakfasts with friends and extended family, and doing things with their grandson. They are members of the Pennsylvania German Dialect and Kultur Society.
Robert is the son of late Harry D. and Katie L. (Haldeman) Boyer. Sally is the daughter of late G. Atlee and Bessie (Weller) Crouse. The couple has one son: Troy Boyer, husband of Candace (Carpenter), Ephrata; and a grandson: Isaiah.
The Boyers celebrated the day playing cards with the family and having a special dinner. There are plans for a larger celebration later in the year.
