Ashley Schmider and Kyle Nelms are announcing their engagement.
Ashley, the daughter of Ted and Yolanda Schmider from McDonald, obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in economics from Duquesne University in 2013, and held the title of Miss Pennsylvania in 2015. She is a manager in the risk strategy and compliance division of KPMG.
Kyle, son of Mike and Debbie Nelms of Reinholds, is a 2008 graduate of Ephrata High School, and obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in supply chain management from Duquesne University in 2012. He is in procurement for CertainTeed Saint-Gobain based in Malvern.
The wedding is being planned for September of 2019.
