Glenn and Nancy (Wilhelm) Weist of Ephrata recently celebrated 50 years of marriage. They married in the Ephrata Church of the Brethren on May 11, 1968.
They celebrated with family and friends at a dinner in their honor, hosted by their children at the Brickerville House restaurant.
Glenn retired from Weist Bros. Electric in 2005. The couple enjoys traveling, serving at the Akron Church of the Brethren, spending time with family and friends, and attending their grandchildren’s games, plays, and concerts.
They have two sons and four grandchildren: Tim, married to Vanisa, and father of Tori and Todd; and Brian, married to Angie, and father of Jania and Justin. Tim now owns Weist Electric, and Brian owns Integrity CPAs.
Glenn and Nancy wish to give thanks to God for his many blessings, including a loving family and a long, happy marriage.
